About the Firm

We formed our law firm in 1980, eight years after we graduated from Stanford Law School. We believed that good friends committed to social justice could help individuals successfully stand up to insurance companies, corporations, and government wrongdoers.

We are proud that over the past 25 years our firm has become one of the most honored and successful small law firms in Oregon. We are proud to be listed in Best Lawyers in America and to have received the highest Peer Review Rating (AV) awarded by Martindale-Hubbell, the nation's first and most prestigious lawyer peer rating firm. In the Fall of 2006, John Devlin joined our firm. John is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, worked for two federal judges as a law clerk, and successfully prosecuted criminal cases in Portland before joining our firm. John shares our firm's commitment to social justice, and because of his background is well prepared to join us in representing our clients in the courtrooms of Oregon. More
